By making a booking with Milas Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd, you agree to be bound by the following booking policy. Please read them carefully before you proceed with your booking.

Booking Policy and Payment

To confirm your booking, you need to pay a deposit of 30% of the total tour price, or the full amount if your booking is made within 30 days of the tour departure date. The balance of the payment must be paid at least 30 days before the tour departure date, or your booking may be canceled and your deposit forfeited. You can pay by credit card, debit card, bank transfer, or PayPal. A surcharge may apply to some payment methods. All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are subject to change without prior notice. Milas Travel reserves the right to adjust the prices due to currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes, or other factors beyond its control.

Cancellation and Refund

If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify Milas Travel in writing as soon as possible. The following cancellation fees will apply:

Normal Season (January, February, May, June, September, October, November, and December):

  • More than 30 days before arrival: 10% cancellation fee on the cancelled component

  • 15 to 30 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee on the cancelled component

  • 7 to 14 days before arrival: 75% cancellation fee on the cancelled component

  • Less than 7 days before arrival or no-show: 100% cancellation fee

Peak Season (March, April, July, and August):

  • More than 45 days before arrival: 10% cancellation fee on the cancelled component

  • 30 to 44 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee on the cancelled component

  • 15 to 29 days before arrival: 75% cancellation fee on the cancelled component

  • Less than 15 days before arrival or no-show: 100% cancellation fee

Selingan Turtle Island (All Seasons):

  • 21 days or less before arrival: 100% cancellation fee

No refund will be given for any unused or missed services or activities during the tour, or for any changes or amendments made after the tour has commenced. Milas Travel reserves the right to cancel or alter any tour due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather, natural disasters, political instability, health emergencies, or other events beyond its control. In such cases, Milas Travel will offer you an alternative tour of similar value and quality, or a full refund of the amount paid, minus any administrative fees.

Travel Insurance

It is strongly recommended that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy that covers personal injury, medical expenses, loss of luggage, cancellation, and curtailment before you travel with Milas Travel. Milas Travel is not responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, liability, or expense that you may suffer or incur during your tour, or as a result of your participation in any activities or services offered by Milas Travel or its partners. You are responsible for ensuring that you have a valid passport, visa, health certificate, and any other necessary travel documents for your destination. Milas Travel is not liable for any costs or penalties incurred due to your failure to comply with the immigration or health requirements of your destination.

Responsibility and Conduct

You are responsible for following the instructions and advice of Milas Travel and its representatives during your tour, and for respecting the laws and customs of the countries you visit. You are responsible for behaving in a respectful and courteous manner towards Milas Travel staff, other tour participants, local people, and the environment. Milas Travel reserves the right to remove you from the tour without a refund if you cause any disturbance, damage, or harm to anyone or anything during your tour. You are responsible for your own personal belongings and valuables during your tour. Milas Travel is not liable for any loss or theft of your items during your tour.

Feedback and Complaints

If you have any feedback or complaints about your tour, please inform Milas Travel as soon as possible so that we can try to resolve them on the spot. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact us by email at admin@milas.travel within 14 days after the end of your tour. We will acknowledge your email within 24 hours and respond to your complaint within 7 working days. We value your feedback and suggestions as they help us improve our services and products. We also appreciate your positive reviews and testimonials on our website and social media platforms.
